Privacy Issues
Can I have different privacy settings for different relationships?
Yes. The privacy setting you select when creating or editing an opportunity controls what executives that match with one of your opportunities will see at the matching stage. You are able to choose to Hide or Show the Company Name and Website on the opportunity profile. If and when you enter a relationship with an executive, you may at that time make a change to your privacy setting for those items for that relationship going forward -- or, you can adjust the setting later in the relationship.
How can I be absolutely positive my identity and company's identity will be kept private?
Choose the Privacy setting when publishing an opportunity. Then, only change this setting in a relationship with an executive when and if you are ready to do so. In addition, if you are pasting job descriptions into our system from other sources, check to be sure no company names, individuals' names, or website or email addresses are in the opportunity description.
Using StrictlyExecs
Is StrictlyExecs the appropriate site on which to publish my opportunity?
StrictlyExecs welcomes the publishing of current, active opportunities as well as the publishing of future opportunities. Because we do not limit the amount of time you may keep an opportunity live, our network is the ideal environment in which to publish opportunities you see opening in the future. We only allow the publishing of opportunities with a director-level title or higher. Lower-level managerial opportunities, MLM opportunities, business opportunities requiring a fee to participate, and commission-only opportunities are prohibited from being published on this site.
How can I indicate that an opportunity is for a Current position or one that is for the Future?
When creating or editing an opportunity you can select if it is for a current position or if you are seeking to discover a professional relationship for future demand. This selection provides transparency for the candidates and allows both sides to set the proper expectations once a match is made and/or relationships are accepted.
Why can't I search all of the Executive candidates in your system?
We are committed to protecting our executives from a barrage of correspondence from companies or employers in order to encourage their continued experience. Our high-quality (and often currently employed) talent will be more likely to communicate when they know a specific match was made by our system, as opposed to unsolicited contact from an employer or search firm. And most importantly, by not permitting executives to "search all", we protect your company or search firm from a barrage of communication from unqualified, uninterested candidates as well.
What is the difference between a Match and a Relationship?
A match is made when an executive profile lines up with an opportunity profile and our system matches the two together. Both sides will be notified of the match and will have the opportunity to "express interest" in a relationship to the other party if they desire to do so. If the other side accepts the request, a relationship has been formed and communication can be exchanged through the site or outside the site through traditional methods (e-mail, phone, meeting, etc.).
Why is my opportunity not matching with many, or any, Executives?
Because our system utilizes a specific matching approach, it may take days or even weeks for individuals to match with a particular opportunity. Our system is constantly identifying areas where little or no matching is taking place and taking steps to increase executive involvement and result in substantive, high-quality matching, but this will not always happen instantly. Our system will bring you only interested and qualified candidates, if and when they are identified by our system. However, with no time limits imposed on the publishing of opportunities, we encourage you to keep opportunities live as long as you desire to communicate with individuals about your current or future opportunity.
I am matching with Executives, but why are those Executives are not accepting my request for relationship?
Remember that although our site seeks to do specific profile matching, there will nonetheless be many situations where an executive does not wish to continue communicating with you. In order to reduce the frequency of declined relationship requests, you should ensure that your opportunity description is compelling and attractive to high-quality talent. In addition, your requests for relationship to executives should be concise and clear, and if at all possible directed personally to them rather than a standardized message. Remember, when you request a relationship with a candidate your opportunity has matched with, you only have one chance to send them a compelling message requesting to do so.
What happens when I delete a match or relationship with an Executive?
When one of your opportunities match with an executive and you do not wish to extend the match into a relationship, delete the match and that executive will never match with that opportunity again. Likewise, you may also delete a relationship, thereby ensuring they will never match with that opportunity again, although the executive is still able to match with other opportunities you publish in the future. Note that when you delete a relationship, you will lose all relationship correspondence with that executive.
How can I invite other Executives I know into the website?
The easiest way to invite quality talent you know into the site is to click on the "Top Talent knows Top Talent" link. There, you will be able to enter one or more e-mail addresses of colleagues, executives or friends that you think would enhance the StrictlyExecs process. The automated email that is generated will personally invite them on your behalf to be a part of our community.

Privacy Issues
Can I have different privacy settings for different relationships?
Yes. The privacy setting you select when creating or editing your Profile controls what companies whose opportunities match with you will see at the matching stage. You are able to choose to Hide or Show the following items on your Profile: Professional Summary, Company Experience, Books/Articles Written, Contact Information, Websites and Accomplishments. If and when you enter a relationship with a company, you may at that time make a change to your privacy settings for these items for that relationship going forward -- or, you can adjust the setting later in the relationship.
How can I be absolutely positive my identity will be kept private?
When you create a profile on StrictlyExecs for the first time, it collects from you only the information required for matching to be performed, and does not even require you to enter your name. In addition, you may wish to create an email address that does not reveal your name that you can use to sign up on the site.
Using StrictlyExecs
Is StrictlyExecs appropriate for me?
We only permit talented individuals screened by our staff and partners, or individuals invited by existing members, to participate on StrictlyExecs. The site does not accommodate individuals without the appropriate experience in, or qualifications for, Director-level (or higher) roles. If you do not have Director, VP, or higher experience in your background, or if you do not have extensive managerial experience (qualifying you for a Director-level role typically compensating in the low-six figures or higher) or extensive senior-level experience in your field, then this site is not the right fit for you. If you are involved without legitimate qualifications, this could damage your reputation among companies and search firms whom you may come into contact with on StrictlyExecs.
How will I know if an opportunity I match with is a Current or a Future opportunity?
When creating or editing your profile you can select if you are looking for a current position or if you are seeking to discover a professional relationship for future opportunity. This selection provides transparency for the companies and employers and allows both sides to set the proper expectations once a match is made and/or relationships are accepted. StrictlyExecs encourages the publishing of both current and future opportunities. Dialoging over future possibilities are often ideal ways to slowly exposure yourself to a company long before you or they may have interest in having serious discussions.
Why can't I search all jobs in your system?
Our site ensures a high-quality experience for Executives by reducing opportunity exposure to only those that are specifically matched with their profiles. This leads to less wasted time working through hundreds of opportunities you are unqualified or uninterested in. It also encourages companies to communicate with Executives when a match does occur -- because they know a specific match has been made by our system, and communication with such a candidate is more likely to bear fruit than their filtering through hundreds of unsolicited resumes.
What is the difference between a Match and a Relationship?
A match is made when an executive profile lines up with an opportunity profile and our system matches the two together. Both sides will be notified of the match and will have the opportunity to express interest in a relationship to the other party if they desire to do so. If the other side accepts the request, a relationship has been formed and communication can be exchanged through the relationship section of the site.
Why am I not matching with many, or any, opportunities?
Our site takes a contrarian approach of only showing you opportunities that your profile specifically matches with. This saves you and the companies represented on our site a lot of time by removing unnecessary, irrelevant job listings and candidate profiles from view. However, this may also result in few or no matches for your profile for a period of time. Rest assured that when we match someone with an opportunity, our system has done so because it believes there could be interest on one or both sides. Quality matches, and not necessarily quantity of matches, is what our solution aims to provide.
I am matching with opportunities, but why are companies not accepting my request for a relationship?
Despite our high degree of confidence around our specific matching technology, no computer system will ever replace the art of making human connections. Remember that even when you have chosen to hide information on your profile, companies will still see your headline. That headline is the single most important piece of information in your profile, and should very briefly hit the high points of your skills. Secondly, make sure your Profile page is complete with a professional summary and a complete, detailed record of accomplishments and company experience. This will provide companies with more information about you and may increase the chances of them contacting you. Also, remember that when you request a relationship with a company with an opportunity your profile has matched with, you only have one chance to send them a compelling message requesting to do so.
What happens when I delete a match or relationship with an opportunity?
When your profile matches with an opportunity and you do not wish to extend the match into a relationship, delete the match and that opportunity will never match with you again. Likewise, you may also delete a relationship, thereby ensuring that opportunity will never match with your profile again, although your profile is still able to match with other opportunities published by that employer or search firm in the future. Note that when you delete a relationship, you will lose all relationship correspondence with that individual.
